St Petersburg car plants’ June output rises 4% to 30,900 vehicles
ST. PETERSBURG, Jul 19 (PRIME) -- The car output of Hyundai, Nissan and Toyota plants located in the Russian city of St. Petersburg rose 4% on the year to 30,900 units in June, research agency Auto-Dealer-SPb said in a statement on Thursday.
In January–June, the combined production of St. Petersburg car plants rose 8% on the year to 183,200 vehicles. Hyundai cars accounted for 66% of the combined car output, while Toyota cars accounted to 18% and Nissan cars for 16%.
Cars produced in St. Petersburg accounted for 23.8% of the combined production of the Russian car industry in January–June, down from 26.3% in the same period of 2017.
